Autism & ADHD Diagnostic Evaluations
Evaluations
At DINO, we offer screenings for 12 months to 18 year olds who are displaying potential signs of Autism or ADHD.
-
The Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) is a comprehensive, standardized interview tool used to assess and diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It is widely regarded as one of the most thorough and reliable instruments for autism diagnosis, used in conjunction with other assessments like the ADOS-2.
-
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), is a widely recognized and evidence-based tool used to assess and diagnose autism spectrum disorder (ASD). At Dino, our Board-Certified Behavior Analyst(s) (BCBA) are trained to administer the ADOS-2, providing a comprehensive evaluation tailored to individuals ranging from toddlers to young adults. This semi-structured, interactive assessment involves a series of activities and social interactions designed to observe and evaluate behaviors associated with autism, such as communication, social engagement, and repetitive behaviors.
-
The Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ) is a brief screening tool used to evaluate communication skills and social functioning in individuals who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
-
The Vanderbilt ADHD Diagnostic Rating Scale (VADRS) is a widely used and reliable tool designed to assess symptoms of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents. This comprehensive rating scale is completed by parents and teachers, providing valuable insights into an individual’s behavior across different settings, such as home and school. The VADRS evaluates core ADHD symptoms, including inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, as well as associated challenges like academic performance and social interactions.
